The Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center held their Second Annual Celebrity Waiter Fundraiser on April 16th, 2008!

Each year they line up a list of celebrity waiters, led by “Head Waiter” Coach Les Miles.

Gordy Rush was emcee for the evening, and priceless items were displayed and auctioned off.

The BRCAC is a non-profit organization that provides services to child victims of sexual abuse. They offer a child-friendly setting for child interviews and on-going therapy, in addition to followup support for their non-offending caregivers. The overall goal of the BRCAC is to reduce any further trauma to the child; they do this by partnering with the various agencies that investigate, treat and prosecute child abuse cases. They serve East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge and Iberville Parishes.

This year we raised more than $75,000 compared to last years $25,000.

I set up the settings and everything on the camera myself but didn’t actually take the pictures so does that count…lol? It was my camera but Jimmy took the pics and did great job. I’m really happy with the way these came out for the 70,000 mailers they are going in next week. *shudder*
