The party was a great success. Everyone had a blast and the showing was good. We actually didn’t have any crawfish leftover which is unheard of. Dad was a little more conservative on the amount he got this time. I took a ton of pictures and I will have to get to most of them later, which I will.
I did a photoshoot of Jason, Meadow & Harlo this morning and the pictures came out really good. We had a BBQ today and I’m so tired and going to bed, but I did want to post this one right quick before I went to bed.

And it’s tomorrow. Two of my best girlfriends sent me flowers. I love getting flowers.
These were from Dane and Brandi:

I feel so blessed this year. I can probably say that so far, it’s been one of the best of my entire life. Turning 27 has me a little scared too. It’s like I’m all of a sudden not young anymore. I can also say that this birthday has been the one that almost everyone has mistaken my age. I was asked, “Is this your golden 30?” Everyone thinks I’m older and that’s all of a sudden not cool anymore. I remember when I was 22 and everyone thought I was 27 that made me feel so good. I don’t think I look older or anything…well maybe I do who knows. Here’s a pic from yesterday before the TOOL show.

But nonetheless, I feel really good about life. This is certainly going to be a birthday to celebrate.
Today Henry and I went to the Jambalaya festival and had so much fun. He is the sweetest thing on the planet. We were jumping from ride to ride. He’s able to ride all the little kid rides by himself now. That was a first for both of us but it was met with tons of laughter from both of us. At one point we were holding hands walking up to another ride and Henry was singing, “Henry and Mama are best friends!” I almost started crying. He is the SWEETEST thing on the planet. I have never been more in love with something in my entire life. We engage in full conversation now. He never fights or argues with me unless he’s tired and cranky which is very rare…and usually on a busy day that had otherwise been fantastic.

I really need to get back to blogging so this was my start. I always post stories about my life on my message boards but it’s nothing an archive like this could be. My photo a day failed and I’ll feel less guilty if I blog. I will of course post pictures and I’m also thinking about adding a wordpress gallery to this site.

Well we moved into a new house:

I’ve been pretty consumed by that the past month and haven’t had time for silly hobbies. But now I’m back in full force and taking pictures like crazy. Life has still been pretty fast moving but I found the time to edit this photo this morning:
