He’s been playing in his room a lot more. Of course that might also have to do with the fact that we finally just unpacked all of his toys from the garage. His room is now just a barrage of toddler Heaven in every corner. He really dislikes the room when it’s nice and neat. He insists he shut the door when he needs to be alone.

I was beaming today. We went to chic fil a for lunch and while he was playing in the play gym there I was sitting at a table reading the paper when a mother and grandmother walked over to me. “Your son is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. He’s in there right now smiling and laughing at himself and singing a song about coconuts. My child just wants to hit everyone.” The other lady said, “Was that the little boy in the orange shirt? Oh my god what a doll.”
I literally almost started crying. It’s like you never really feel like you’ve done right by your child as a parent until another parent delivers such a compliment.
